Most of us never have to think much about our sewer. Like all underground utilities, it’s out of sight, out of mind. That is, until it doesn’t work. Then it becomes priority one.
Chances are that your sewer is already a priority for your city. More and more municipalities are adopting standards for sewer lateral compliance. These standards require that residential sewers be brought up to current code, either when a property sells or during major home remodeling.
