The Monolithic Gripper Assemblies are used to hold the compact swaged cable during the extension and retraction strokes of the hydraulic rams. The grooves of the Grippers engage the cable, and the Yoke Arm (or Chain) Assembly keeps the Grippers side by side as they move up or down in the pocket.
