3" Triple-Chuck Head Assembly

The 3” Triple-Chuck Head Assembly is used to burst old or damaged pipes while pulling in a new 3” replacement pipe. The head is pulled by a 3/4” cable that gets annealed and rounded at the end. The cable is inserted into the Nose (TT-TCHEAD-NOSE), and retained by an internal set of cable-gripping jaws (TT-TCHEAD-GRPR). The replacement pipe is fused to a PE Cap (TT-HEAD-3PEC) that is bolted to the rear of the assembly with Bolt (TT-FSNR-GB2000X), Washer (TT-FSNR-W625), and a Spacer (TT-FSNR-3CSP). A chain link between the Nose and the rear pipe connection allows for articulation in tight entry conditions and throughout the length of the pull. A can of Teflon Lubricant Spray (TT-RELUBE), and a Wedge Tool (TT-TCHEAD-CRT) are included to help the jaws release the cable at the end of the job.
