The 3” PE Cap is used on the 3” Triple-Chuck Head Assembly (TTA-TCHEAD-3ASM) as the connection that pulls the new 3” pipe in place of the old one. The PE Cap is fastened to the back of the Head Assembly, and the new 3” pipe is joined to the PE Cap by heat fusion in accordance with standards set by ASTM (American Society for Testing & Materials) and other international organizations.
